Non-contact voltage tester – testo 745

Description

The testo 745 non-contact voltage tester means you can quickly and easily determine voltage or de-energization. In contrast to most other models on the market, it has a filter for high-frequency interference signals which enables reliable voltage indication. If voltage is determined, the instrument gives a warning via a clear visual and acoustic signal. The sensitivity of the instrument can be set in two stages: stage 1 for phase detection, stage 2 for voltage indication. The integrated torch also enables you to work safely in dark surroundings. In addition, the testo 745 voltage tester is both waterproof and dustproof according to IP 67.

LED stroboscope – testo 477

Description

“The testo 477 LED stroboscope makes stunningly fast movements look as if they are taking place in slow motion. This allows you to check and inspect machines and systems while they are still running, and measure speeds of up to 300,000 rpm.

It is impossible to tell with the naked eye if the thread guide of a knitting machine is working properly. It is therefore equally impossible to tell if there are any irregularities in vibration or rotational processes of machines or systems. But it’s a different story with the testo 477 LED stroboscope. That’s because the stroboscope emits a series of flashes which makes what you see appear as a “frozen image”.

The testo 477 LED stroboscope can also measure the rotational speed of very small and hard-to-reach objects. And because there’s no need for reflex marks, there’s no need to stop the machines and no disruption to production processes either.

LED stroboscope – technical features

An extremely high measurement range of up to 300,000 flashes per minute (fpm) and a very high illumination of up to 1500 Lux allow you to carry out rotational speed measurements of up to 300,000 rpm. A trigger input and output ensure connectivity to external systems and control via an external sensor.

The LED stroboscope’s integrated impact protection and sturdy IP65 rated housing(which also allows it to be wiped down) ensure that the testo 477 can stand up to the rough and tumble of everyday use. And thanks to a longer battery operating time, you can carry out uninterrupted measurements for up to 5 hours.”

USPs
  • Extremely high measurement range: up to 300,000 flashes per minute (fpm)
  • Very high illumination: up to 1500 Lux
  • Long operating times: battery power for up to 5 h
  • Trigger input and output for connectivity to external systems and control via external sensor
Delivery Scope

testo 477 LED stroboscope, carry case, trigger signal plug, calibration protocol, batteries.

Hand-held stroboscope (Xenon) – testo 476

Description

“The testo 476 hand-held Xenon stroboscope with high-intensity light allows fast-moving objects to appear in slow motion. In doing so, the hand-held stroboscope measures and checks rotational and vibratory movements. It enables measurement of very small objects or in inaccessible places – what is more, without any interruption to the production process. The testo 476 is therefore ideally suited for rpm measurement and for the inspection of parts moving at high frequencies.

Digital tachometer – testo 470

Description

“Do you need to measure the rpm of rotating objects or record the length and speed of conveyor belts and rotors? The testo 470 RPM measuring instrument is a compact tool that makes it possible to carry out these measurements.

Multiple functions in one digital tachometer

In the case of optical rpm measurement, you can use the testo 470 RPM measuring instrument to record how fast a rotating object rotates. Thus, for example, you can check whether motors, shafts and fans are functioning correctly in order to spot any impending defects due to overload at an early stage.

For rpm measurement, simply stick a reflective marker on the measurement object and aim the visible red beam at the reflective marker. The measurement can then start (at a distance of up to 600 mm between digital tachometer and measurement object). The digital tachometer is easy to operate using one hand.

However, the testo 470 RPM measuring instrument not only provides the functions of an optical tachometer, it also functions as a mechanical tachometer: Attach the adapter for the probe tip and measure the rpm mechanically. Attach the wheel to also measure speeds and lengths of rotors/conveyor belts.

You get the testo 470 digital tachometer in a transport case with practical accessories (reflective markers, softcase, etc.).”

USPs
  • Simple one-hand operation
  • Measurement of rpm, speeds and lengths
  • Simple one-hand operation
  • Includes accessories such as reflective markers, protective case and transport case
Delivery Scope

testo 470 digital tachometer with softcase, reflective markers, adapter, probe tip, wheels 0.1 m and 6″; batteries, transport case and calibration protocol.

Tachometer – testo 465

Description

With the testo 465 tachometer, you can perform non-contact rpm measurement using just one hand. This makes the tachometer suitable, for example, for measurements on rotating parts such as fans and shafts. To measure the rpm, simply stick a reflective marker on the measurement object, aim the visible red beam at the marker and measure the rpm. The distance between the tachometer and the measurement object can be up to 600 mm.

A particularly practical feature is the option to save min./max. and mean values, as well as the last measured value. The SoftCase included in the scope of delivery is useful for protecting the tachometer. The scope of delivery also includes reflective markers and a transport case.

USPs
  • Extremely easy one-handed operation
  • Saves mean/max./min. values, as well as the last measuring value
  • Extremely easy one-handed operation
  • Includes reflective markers

Pocket-sized RPM meter – testo 460

Description

“The lightweight, pocket-sized testo 460 RPM meter provides you with quick and reliable readings when carrying out checks on fans, crankshafts and motors. And because the checks can be performed while the machines are still running, there’s no need to stop production or shut down machinery.

Carrying out measurements with testo 460 RPM meter

Remove the lightweight meter from the practical belt bag and place the hand strap gently around your wrist to prevent your RPM meter from accidentally falling onto the floor. The compact RPM meter is now ready for use.

Attach the self-adhesive reflective markers, which can be reordered at any time, to the measuring object. The RPM meter transmits an LED measuring spot which marks the center of the measuring area. The measuring spot is now aligned to the reflective marker.

That’s all there is to it! You can now use your testo 460 RPM meter to carry out quick and accurate measurements on the measuring object from any distance between 10 and 40 cm.

The testo 460 also has a hold function that freezes the last reading on the display for added convenience and a backlit display that makes it ideal for use in all lighting conditions. Min/max values can be accessed at the touch of a key.

Replace the protective cap and return the RPM meter to the belt bag where it can be stored safely until you next need it.”
